The Coble Ski School Family – April Coble Eller, Chris Eller and Gary and Shirley Coble
The Coble family has put Lillington on the map. They are known as national and international competitors and coaches in the water skiing world. In addition, their Lillington ski school attracts over 40 instructors each year as well as students from all over the world. Active in the water skiing world since the 1970s, they have over 70 years of combined coaching experience. In addition, the family is known for their support of local events and the area’s schools.
Dan Denning
Owner of Cape Fear Insurance, active in many community and civic efforts including leadership of Lillington’s renowned 4th of July Celebration. Is a current member of the Lillington Kiwanis Club.
Gary and Karen McFadden
The McFaddens have been involved in the Lillington business community for many years, first as employees with Edwards Brothers Printing Company and now as the owners of McFadden Properties in downtown Lillington. They are active participants in the Small Town Main Street Project downtown revitalization efforts and volunteer their time in a number of ways to assist with events and projects to promote and improve Lillington.
Neil and Cindy McPhail
Neil is a lifelong member of the Lillington community and the owner of McPhail's Pharmacy, which recently celebrated its 30 year anniversary. He is known for his desire to meet the pharmaceutical needs of the community and has opened his store in the middle of the night to fill a prescription and made home deliveries for those in need. Cindy moved to the area shortly after graduating from college and is a retired kindergarten teacher. Neil has been a Sunday school teacher and deacon at the Lillington Baptist Church and has served on numerous committees. The McPhail's generosity to community projects and continued dedication for the community speaks to their passion for Lillington.
