Downtown Lillington Master Plan

• The Downtown Lillington Master Plan was adopted by the Town Board on March 10, 2020. The project began in May 2019 and was made possible through a Downtown Revitalization Grant from the North Carolina Department of Commerce, and technical expertise and assistance from consulting firm Stuart, Inc.
• A Downtown steering committee made up of local business owners, residents and Town staff, conducted public engagement sessions and held a series of meetings throughout the process. Developing the plan included careful analysis of Lillington's history, character and current conditions, resulting in specific recommendations and the short- and long-term strategies to implement them.
